The Wendell family has been producing honey since the 1930s when John Wendell purchased his first hives near the village of MacNutt, SK. In 2011 Tim and Isabel Wendell launched the Wendell Estate brand so that customers could enjoy natural, gourmet raw honey. In 2019 Wendell Estate was awarded the Jury’s Choice Alize for excellence in agri-foods exporting, a prestigious national award.
Every drop of Wendell Estate Honey is harvested from our own beehives and packaged fresh on location by us immediately after extracting the honey from the honeycombs. The result is a brilliant white soft-set honey with silky-smooth texture, fresh floral aromas, delicate flavours and a subtle sweetness.
